mattelMattel should make a Barbie with no hair so that every little girl fighting cancer feels beautiful!!
Put her in pink, name her HOPE and send the proceeds to St. Jude.
Post and share if you agree. I’ll be 99% of you will.

    • Not that I have heard. I think it’s a great idea. I am clown (yes, a white-face clown) NO, DOV, no comments here… and I often go to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. I think it would be great if I had that doll to offer those amazing girls (and boys).

    • Yes, it is very difficult for them, and for their families. But they are troopers. They come to see us (clowns) anxious to be part of “normalcy”, whatever that is. At Halloween we helped them decorate pumpkins and wear costumes. A doll named Hope might be just what they need.

  1. I believe there are more ways to combat cancer than just the western medicine’s approach of chemo therapy. It is my hope that if someone has cancer that they will learn about all the other ways to treat it as well.

    • You are probably correct, Loretta. Chemo therapy, although it appears to be the approach of choice, is a killer (pun intended). My late husband’s mother went to Mexico for laitril (sp) treatments in the early 70’s. It didn’t work and he never forgave her for trying. One day I told him “If the doctor had said to eat watermelon seeds she would have tried that”. He had never thought about it from her point of view. I think there must be alternatives. The idea for the Barbie doll is to give Hope to the children.
