  1. When I worked as a secretary, I always received a HUGE floral arrangement from my boss. I felt so loved and appreciated. When someone feels appreciated, they reciprocate with doing more to be appreciated for. It’s a universal law. If people are smart, they will honor their secretaries!

    • Me, too, Loretta! When I was a secretary I received an amazing floral arrangement every year. I’ll never forget it! And my brother, who is an attorney, has always sent his secretary a gift basket (from me) and she has been the envy of his office (the other secretaries received either a little bud vase of flowers or nothing at all). A little appreciation goes a long way!

  2. Wow I’d love to receive any of those amazing flowers or fruit baskets! I think more people should start to recognize these “holidays” again. They seem to be swept under the rug nowadays. It’s a great way to do a little something out of your way to show another your appreciation once a year!

  3. I know that when I worked in an office the secretaries always appreciated being remember. They work so hard and deserve to be recognized!

  4. Flowers are always so lovely. Just finished reading Vanessa Diffenbaugh’s “The Language of Flowers”. It was a great read. I”m going to use the information I gained when I order flowers in the future!!
