Today people simply couldn’t decide what they wanted to send. Do REAL MEN really get flowers? (you bet they do!!).
What about a run-in-and-get-married wedding? Sure, we can do that!
And if that’s not what you have in mind, how about a gift basket?
We call it magic. The magic of Roadrunner Florist & Basket Express.
What do you call it?
I love the idea of the food baskets – what a great idea for a gift!
Food baskets are perfect gifts. The ones you see here, although they are similar, are different in content. Both have fresh apples, pears, oranges, kiwi, lemons, tangerines, cheese and crackers, but it stops there. One has a sausage. One has a pineapple. Each has a different type of cheese. I decided to add cookies to both of them (only one asked for them but I didn’t want the cookies to go to waste … or to waist …). I love designing these, all year ’round, as the fruits of the season change. I’m glad you like it!
I really like the gift basket idea. Awesome for the guys!
Yes, Debbie, it’s the perfect “guy” gift. Also great for Super Bowl Sunday!!
i call it…. can you send me one please ?? now? flowers or a gift basket? or both?
Sure!! That’s what we do!!! We send flowers & gift baskets and people love them!
My hubby surprised me a few times when he was working up north. He would call in an flower order and wait for it to be delivered. It was awesome!! We have never ordered gift baskets thought. I wonder why?
Your hubby is a keeper!! But why you haven’t considered gift baskets I don’t know. Maybe it’s something to consider in the future!
I love your non-flower type baskets. You really can cater to a person’s interests!
Thanks, Debra. We’ve learned to have many options available because people have such different needs. I love our vegie baskets, too! http://giftbasketsbytina.com/searchquick-submit.sc?keywords=vegie
Food baskets are actually awesome gifts! You can so easily customize them for any theme or any personality.
That’s right, Anita. That’s why we offer so many different kinds. We have “junk” (cookies, candy, chips, etc) and Southwest (chips, salsa, baked goods, etc) and fresh fruit and fresh vegies, to name a few. We can mix and match, too!
Food baskets are a favorite gift here!
Food baskets, especially fresh fruit, are among my favorite to receive!
My favorite, too, Virginia! I love the smell of fresh fruit, and I love working with it to design pretty gift baskets. (of course I don’t get to open it on the other end so I don’t get to enjoy that part!!!) haha
One can never have too much fruit!! Thanks, Virginia!
food baskets and movie baskets are baskets I love to give out. Course I’m a sucker for flowers so those top ones would’ve worked for me
Movie baskets are fun, too! We have a large chain not far from us (Harkins) and they sell gift certificates. So I include them in the baskets, along with popcorn, Dots, M&Ms and other goodies to enjoy at the movies!
I love the idea of gift baskets instead of flowers. Flowers are gorgeous, but it’s a nice change of pace to get something else sometimes.
Yes, that’s one of the reasons we offer flowers and gift baskets!
I always enjoy getting a gift basket! The variety is nice.
Yes, Angela, gift baskets are a great alternative and offer wonderful variety!
I am not sure what I like better, the food baskets or flower bassets! Perhaps one of each!
A little bit of goodies for everyone! We should all have such decisions to make!
Those baskets are such a cute idea. I love the idea of the movie basket.
After I wrote about the movie basket, I remembered something I recently read. It seems more people are watching movies at home than going to the movies! So, why not enjoy a movie basket when it’s movie basket at home with your family?
I love the idea of the gift basket. Great selection in the basket you have featured.
Thanks, Stefani. I have found most people like to add a little chocolate to their fresh fruit baskets!
Sounds like you’ve got it covered no matter the occasion!
Yes, Liz, that is the plan! We know there are occasions when flowers are the perfect gift. And we know gift baskets are sometimes appropriate, too. Another example is a funeral. We deliver fresh fruit baskets to family homes to mourners can enjoy the goodies after a service. It’s another thoughtful way to express condolences.
I love the food basket. I actually would also love to try one of the edible creations. I’ve seen them and love them!
Thanks, Amanda. As you can imagine, when those edible creations came to town I was most curious, so I went to one of their locations for a look-see. What I wanted to know is how they treat the fruit after they cut it. You see, I live in Phoenix, and I know for a fact fresh fruit, after it is pierced, has a very short life expectancy unless it is treated with something to keep it fresh. I was very disappointed that they would not let me into the “back room” to see what they do with the fruit. I didn’t get to see where they store the fruit, where they cut the fruit, how many utensils they use to cut the fruit, what they place on the fruit to keep it fresh, or even how long the cut fruit sits out before it is (hopefully) refrigerated. The only part of the process I was allowed to see was their display refrigerator and the cold-bag they sell. Of course we’re dealing with heat. In a lot of the country people are dealing with cold. How do they keep their fruit from freezing? I don’t know the answers to the questions, but I’d love to find out. In the meantime I will continue to design and deliver fresh fruit baskets that have the whole fruit and nothing but the fruit!!
I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love a good food or gift basket. 🙂
Everyone loves ’em!! I enjoy designing them too!! It’s a win-win situation!
the run in and get married bouquet is so sweet!
Thanks for noticing! The little bouquet is for the bride’s 4 year old! It was a wedding planned in 4 days! We love this kind of wedding!
I always love coming here and seeing all the arrangements, so pretty. I love that snack basket!
I’m so glad you like to come and visit! I try to keep our information fresh and interesting so you will continue to come back and visit!!
It took me a long time to realize that my hubby would like flowers just like I like getting flowers. So thanks for this reminder…let me order some flowers for my hubby to be delivered next week JUST BECAUSE!
Pamela, I promise men like flowers as much a women do! And maybe a bit more since they don’t usually receive them!! If I have reminded you to order flowers JUST BECAUSE (which is one of my favorite reasons!!) then I have succeeded in my blogging efforts. Contact a LOCAL flower shop. If you need help finding one, let me know and I’ll be happy to assist you! Then please come back and let us know how your hubby responded to the gift!!
